  6. MathScript is a formula editor, which is used to integrate
  7. mathematical formulas into word processors or DTP programs.
  8. It has an extensive amount of mathematical and physical
  9. symbols and many control codes for creating fractions,roots,
  10. exponents...
  11. Although MathScript has no WYSIWYG, the look of a formula can
  12. be seen immediately by its preview feature.
  13. It saves its formulas as graphics files which are then loaded
  14. into word processors. Available formats: EPS,Binary EPS,IFF,TIFF.
  15. Its ARexx port can automate this procedure (scripts for FinalWriter
  16. are included).
  17. It supports multiple languages:
  18.         english,deutsch,francais,svenska,suomi,dansk
  19.  
  20. MathScript needs MUI 2.3!

  22. Changes since V2.0:
  23.  
  24.   - New control codes for:
  25.     - Matrices
  26.     - Over-/Underline
  27.   - Toolbar icons (8 colors like MagicWB) for the most used menu items
  28.   - Zoom of preview
  29.   - Quick Help (Gadget Help). Put the mouse pointer over a gadget and a little
  30.     help text wil be shown
  31.   - adjustable Fore-/Background color for exported formulas
  32.   - Installer script now also in German
  33.   - New ARexx commands "SetZoom" and "GetZoom", GeneralPrefs ARexx commands
  34.     support color
  35.   - ARexx script InsertFormula.ms has been improved. Now it uses the current
  36.     font color. (you may change this!)
  37.   - removed a bug in a formula interpretation function which crashed on
  38.     68000 systems
  39.   - removed a stupid bug that caused a dramatical rendering slowdown
  40.     of *very* nested formulas. Now MUCH faster!
  41.   - bug which screwed up the preview after iconification fixed
  42.   - Several minor bug fixes and improvements
